Future Opportunities

While these directress positions are currently full, we are experiencing lots of parent demand to expand our school in order to accept a greater number of students from our large wait pool. MSM would love to open more classrooms and we are, therefore, interested in hiring directresses for the positions below.

The goal is to respect the personhood of each infant and create every opportunity for their growth and independence. Verbal, peaceful, kind, and disciplined adults will thrive in this environment and delight in the comforting rhythms of the infant room as they marvel at the great ability of Montessori infants.

While routines are consistent, each day is different and holds exciting new discoveries for you and your students. There is certainly no dull moment throughout the day, as an assistant you remain engaged and moving about the classroom. Not only will you have the opportunity to watch the students develop over their three Casa years but, as a teacher, you also will experience great personal and professional growth as you become increasingly keen, enterprising, and confident.

The toddler years are a period of great growth, especially in terms of physical development–speech, toileting, care of self, etc. This assistant position allows for a diligent, kind, and discerning adult to find great fulfillment in intentionally supporting the development of their toddler students.

The lead directress supervises both the Bambini and Nido programs to ensure each child’s proper growth and the fulfillment of developmental needs throughout their first three years of life.
At this level, you will be witness to the amazing developments of physical independence as you provide the child with many opportunities to do things for himself. The directress’s creativity, observational skills, kindness, organization, and inner-peace all assist her in successfully leading the Bambini class day-to-day.

The elementary directress is an incredibly unique and gratifying teaching experience. This position offers a great deal of freedom for your students to truly learn and explore––a refreshing reminder of what education is really about.
Elementary directresses are wells of knowledge who facilitate connections across curriculum areas, provide broad picture perspectives via storytelling, and keenly observe and individually guide each student.

This role reminds you what learning is really about––that lightbulb moment of personal discovery. As Casa directress, you have the rewarding opportunity to observe such moments each day.
As a keenly aware and enterprising individual, the Casa directress is charged with the individualized and holistic development of each of her students. Being that Casa students complete three years in the same classroom, their teacher has the rare educational opportunity to truly know her students and see them grow to a tremendous degree.
